Rules of Texas Hold'Em Poker

Texas Hold'Em Poker is the main poker game that's played everywhere today. The World Poker tour and the WSOP both play Texas Hold'Em poker as their main games.
Playing Texas Hold'Em is easy to do. The game is played like this:
1. The Deal
The first step of the game is to choose a dealer. This can be done by any method that you want. The deal goes clockwise to the left of the dealer. The player to the direct left of the dealer pays the Small Blind. This is 1/2 of the minimum bet. The person to the left of the small blind pays the Big Blind which is equal to the minimum bet. From here, each player is dealt two cards face-down. There are the players hole cards and are kept private.
2. First Bets
Betting starts from the player to the left of the dealer. This player can either call to the minimum bet, raise according to the table limits or fold their hand. Each player has their go in turn until each player has the same amount of money added to the pot, or they have folded out of the hand. Betting is always done in this fashion. There are limits to the amount of times around the table that bets can go to limit the amount of money that is required to still be in the game.
3. The Flop
When all bets are placed, three cards are dealt face-up to the middle of the table. These cards are called the Flop and are community cards that are used for each players hand. From here, remaining players take turns at betting again.
4. The Turn
After betting has finished for the Flop, another card is dealt face-up to the community cards in the middle of the board. This card is called the Turn. From here, remaining players take turns at betting again.
5. The River
After betting has finished for the Turn, a fifth and final card is dealt face-up to the community cards in the middle of the table. This card is called the River. from here, remaining players take turns at betting again.
6. The Showdown
If there are still players left in the game, the remaining players show their cards and their hands are evaluated. In Texas Hold'Em poker, the players two hole cards are combined with the five community cards to form a hand of seven cards of which the best hand of five cards is taken. The hands are ranked according to standard poker hand rankings and the winner is chosen.
